About the Production
Tempus Fugit consists of double video monitors in which the faces of diverse, unidentified human beings are seen one at a time staring out at the viewer. Appearing out of the darkness waxing and waning like the moon then back into the darkness followed by another waxing and waning face. The monitors are set high up on a wall, angled down, looking down on the viewer, mortality facing mortality. A reflection on the simple fact of human existence, of our brief moment on earth.
