Generation Y-O-U Educator Toolkit

Generation YOU Educator Resource Guide, developed in collaboration with The New Victory Theater: a full curriculum for 6th-12th grade educators with ready-to-implement activities and resources that encourage youth to tell their stories and address the important social issues that shape their lives. Activities are adapted for both live and virtual learning models.

Hidden Voices Cultural Connections: AAPI Experience & Documentary Theater

A 9-lesson culturally responsive theater unit for middle school theater teachers, this multicultural curricular resource uses PCC’s documentary theater approaches to open a window into AAPI history, experience, and identity, inviting students to engage with these histories from a personal lens, and respond to them with art-making. Developed by PCC for the NYCDOE, this unit serves as a companion to the DOE’s Passport to Social Studies curriculum.

Passages Alaska

A 9-week, 9th grade social studies unit exploring the stories, histories, cultures, and contemporary identities of Alaska, integrated with interdisciplinary arts engagements, and rooted in Ping Chong and Company’s theatrical production ALAXSXA | ALASKA. Created in partnership with Lower Kuskokwim School District in Bethel, Alaska with support from the AK State Council on the Arts & NEFA, Passages Alaska is now available to educators nationwide through the School of Education at University of Alaska, Anchorage.
